There is a new web portal out there that, according to its founders, strives “to make information about Zimbabwe more widely available to the international audience (both diaspora and donors to social and mission projects in Zimbabwe) and to help build connections and information flow in the local Zimbabwean communities of faith.”

We at SteppesinSync see this initiative as exactly the type of technology-to-society service that web developers can do to help their nations.

Part of what RelZim.org  is offering is to create a free web page  for any religious group or organisation that would like one.

This portal could help in sharing  mutual knowledge among various religious communities present in Zimbabwe and thus foster social development through online interaction of Zimbabweans and friends both inside the country and overseas.

This is what is gradually being implemented in Ukraine, where the Religious Information Service of Ukraine for more than 10 years has being doing a great work in fostering an unbiased discussion of religious issues.
